Refunds
United Passport offers refunds for services purchased within 30 days of payment, subject to the terms outlined below. To request a refund, please contact us within this 30-day period and include your order number along with the reason for your request.
Refunds may be granted only if the service has not been accessed, used, or initiated.
Please note the following important exceptions:
– Digital products and services that have already been accessed or used are non-refundable
– Customized or personalized services created specifically for you are non-refundable.
– Due to the urgent nature of passport services, Online Renewal applications are automatically submitted to the U.S. Department of State, and therefore cannot be cancelled once submitted.
– Non-Online Renewals (applications mailed in) cannot be cancelled once a label has been created and the application is queued for mailing. Because shipping fees are paid to the carrier at the time the label is generated, a shipping fee will be charged on all mail-in cancellations.
– Rushed Orders that are cancelled may be subject to various cancellation fees, depending on the selected processing time and the stage of the application at the time of cancellation.
– A transaction fee of up to 8% may be deducted from any approved refund to cover bank or credit card processing fees.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account. Refunds cannot be issued after the 30-day window has passed. If we request additional information needed to process your service and more than 30 days pass without receiving it, no refund will be issued. Once a service has been initiated, delivered, mailed, or processed in any capacity, the order cannot be canceled or modified.
In the event of a cancellation or dispute after work has begun, you will be responsible for reimbursing all fees incurred for service preparation, including the originally quoted cost and any applicable sales tax.
If a pricing or descriptive error occurs on our website, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed under such incorrect terms. If your payment has already been processed, you will receive a credit for the incorrect amount charged.
Cancellations
You may cancel an order within 30 days of placement, provided the service has not been accessed, used, initiated, or submitted.
United Passport will send an email confirmation once an order is fulfilled. No refunds will be issued after this confirmation has been sent, as this indicates the service has already been activated.
If the confirmation has not been sent and you cancel within 30 days—and the service has not been accessed or used—a refund will be issued within 10 business days of receiving your written cancellation request.
To cancel an order, you must email us at contact@unitedpassport.com by midnight of the third (3rd) day following the order placement.
